This beautiful kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of cream is handwoven with vanki(chevron) pattern in gold zari, across the body. The korvai borders are in leaf green shot with deep mulberry purple; the broad lower border has twill, mayil(peacock), yali, manga(paisley), floral, geometric and rudraksham motifs in gold zari, while the narrow upper border has floral and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a diamond band edged by mayil, kuthirai(horse), yaanai(elephant), manga(paisley), floral, geometric and stylised leaf motifs all in gold zari.
