This beautiful kanjivaram sari in black is handwoven with floral and rudraksham motifs in gold zari dotted on the body, along with annam and floral motifs in gold zari, placed in either corner of the body. The borders in deep red shot with black have rudraksham, rettai neli, floral and geometric motifs in gold zari, along with moplah and bands in yellow. The pallu mirrors the colours of the body and features dramatically large chakaram enclosing annam edged by yali, puli(tiger), yaanai(elephant), maan(deer), mayil(peacock), rettai neli, rudraksham, twill, floral and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with hints of deep red.
