This stunning kanjivaram sari in leaf green shot with burgundy is handwoven with kuthirai(horse), iruthalai pakshi, floral, manga(paisley), radham (chariot) and floral motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have diamond, vanki(chevron), salangai(anklet) and thuthiripoo patterns in gold zari, along with hints of yellow. The pallu woven using the ‘adai’ technique features a seeprekku pattern flanked by mayil(peacock), yali, thuthiripoo, twill, salangai(anklet) and geometric motifs in gold zari, along with hints of lime green.
