This regal kanjivaram sari in black shot with deep purple is handwoven with ettu kol twill patterns, along with geometric bands and stripes in gold zari, golden olive and golden yellow, forming a checkered pattern on the body. The borders in black shot with deep purple have vanki(chevron), thuthiripoo and geometric motifs in gold zari, along with hints of golden yellow. The pallu features a ettu kol twill band flanked by mayil(peacock), floral, thuthiripoo and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with hints of golden yellow.
