This regal kanjivaram sari in cobalt blue shot with navy blue is handwoven with an ettu kol twill pattern in gold zari, highlighted by bands and stripes in gold zari and a dual shade of rust orange, on the body. The broad borders in cobalt blue shot with navy blue have vanki(chevron), thuthiripoo and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with hints of rust orange. The pallu in the same colours as the borders interlocked using the 'adai' technique features an ettu kol twill band edged by mayil(peacock), thuthiripoo, geometric motifs and alternating stripes in gold zari, along with hints of rust orange.
