This stunning kanjivaram sari in burnt orange shot with deep purple is handwoven with checks in gold zari, running along the body. The borders in dark blue shot with deep purple have salangai(anklet), vanki(chevron), floral and geometric patterns in gold zari and leaf green, along with hints of deep red. The pallu woven using the 'adai' technique in the same colours as the borders features an intricate diamond band edged by yaanai(elephant), floral, vanki, salangai and geometric motifs all in gold zari.
