Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-595-HS001-11350

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a
sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of maroon is handwoven with maan(deer) motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The pallu in burgundy shot with maroon features a geometric band edged by yaanai(elephant), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), annam, meen(stylised fish), manga(paisley), floral and diamond motifs in gold zari.
