This stunning kanjivaram sari in ink blue shot with cobalt blue is handwoven with checks enclosing iruthalai pakshi, parakkum kuthirai(winged horse) and yaanai(elephant) motifs in gold zari, across the body. The borders in cobalt blue shot with deep magenta have mayil(peacock), floral, vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with a selvedge in orange. The pallu in the same colours as the body features a twill band edged by yaanai, annam, mayil(peacock), yali, floral, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
