Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-110-HS001-03853

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This stunning kanjivaram sari in dark pink shot with crimson red is handwoven with mayil(peacock) buttis in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in scarlet red shot with crimson red have vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a seeprekku pattern edged by vanki and geometric motifs in gold zari.
