Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-041-HS001-12839

This unique kanjivaram sari in sage green shot with golden yellow is handwoven with an ettu kol twill pattern in gold zari, highlighted by checks, mayil(peacock), maan(deer), iruthalai pakshi and parakkum kuthirai(winged horse) motifs in gold zari, scarlet red and raspberry pink, on the body. The borders in golden yellow have diamond, vanki(chevron), rudraksham and geometric patterns in gold zari, with hints of raspberry pink. The pallu is interlocked using the 'benth' technique in the same colours as the borders and features a diamond band edged by yali, mann kuthirai(terracotta horse), mythical animal, floral, salangai(anklet) and geometric motifs in gold zari and scarlet red.
