This stunning kanjivaram sari in leaf green shot with black is handwoven with vaira oosi stripes, highlighted with floral motifs in gold zari, on the body. The borders have diamond, vanki(chevron) and salangai(anklet) patterns in gold zari, along with hints of scarlet red. The pallu woven using the 'adai' technique features a diamond band edged by yaanai(elephant), maan(deer), manga(paisley), vanki, floral and geometric patterns in gold zari and scarlet red.
