Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-040-HS001-14532

This unique kanjivaram sari in midnight blue shot with navy blue is handwoven with checks enclosing circular motifs in gold zari and tissue, along with dramatically large manga(paisley) and floral motifs in gold zari placed on either corners of the body. The korvai borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where one side is in mustard yellow shot with golden yellow and the other side is in a dual shade of green, both having vanki(chevron), salangai(anklet) and thuthiripoo patterns in gold zari, along with hints and moplah bands in mustard yellow and red. The pallu is interlocked using the 'petni' technique in red and features a diamond band flanked by kuthirai(horse), maan(deer), manga, floral and geometric motifs all in gold zari.
