Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 22-598-HS001-13203

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of purple is handwoven with mayil(peacock) and floral buttis in purple and dark mauve, dotted on the body. The borders have iruthalai pakshi, manga(paisley) and geometric patterns in dark brown and purple. The pallu mirrors the patterns of the borders also features a seeprekku pattern in deep purple.
