This stunning kanjivaram sari in violet shot with scarlet red is handwoven with checks enclosing floral buttis in gold zari on the body. The broad border has mayil(peacock), kuthirai(horse), twill, (manga)paisley and rudraksham patterns in gold zari and violet; while the small border has twill and geometric patterns in gold zari and violet. The pallu features a diamond band flanked by (kili)parrot, yaanai(elephant), geometric and manga motifs all in gold zari.
