Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 22-110-HS001-02720

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of green is handwoven with checks enclosing geometric patterns in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have manga(paisley), floral and geometric motifs in gold zari. The pallu features a geometric band edged by yaanai(elephant), annam, mayil(peacock), manga, floral and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
