Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-110-HS001-01176

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This unique kanjivaram sari in purple is handwoven with self jacquard geometric pattern, highlighted by manga(paisley) motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders have mayil(peacock), yali, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu features a seeprekku pattern edged by manga(paisley), mayil and rudraksham motifs in gold zari.
