Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-100-HS001-02035

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in bottle green is handwoven with self-stripes highlighted by kili(parrot) motifs in dark olive green and bottle green, dotted on the body. The borders have diamond, thazhampoo reku(temple), vanki(chevron), twill and geometric patterns in gold zari, deep mulberry purple and bottle green. The pallu mirrors the patterns and colours of the border and also features a diamond band in gold zari and bottle green.
