Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 20-586-HS001-01255

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This regal kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of dark blue is handwoven with mayil(peacock), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), vanki(chevron), floral, rudraksham and geometric patterns in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have twill, floral and geometric motifs in silver zari. The pallu features a large diamond band edged by twill, rudraksham and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
