This classic silk cotton sari in sap green silk shot with black cotton is handwoven with checks in a dual shade of red cotton, highlighted by floral motifs in scarlet red silk, on the body. The borders in black have paisley and geometric patterns in red cotton. The pallu in the same colour as the borders features a seeprekku pattern edged by peacock, yali, mythical bird, circular, twill, paisley, floral and geometric motifs in scarlet red silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft lustre and bodied drape.
