Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 24-598-HS005-09209

This beautiful silk cotton sari in off-white is handwoven with bands and stripes in deep purple silk and black cotton, forming a checkered pattern, on the body. The borders have a selvedge in black. The pallu features a seeprekku pattern flanked by chakaram enclosing peacock motifs and alternating stripes in off-white and scarlet red.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
