Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 23-598-HS005-07369

This beautiful silk cotton sari is handwoven using melpuni kelpuni technique in orange and mustard yellow silk both shot with red cotton and is handwoven with floral motifs in black silk, dotted on the body. The borders in orange silk shot with red cotton have twill and geometric patterns in black cotton. The pallu mirrors the colours of the borders and features twill, vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in black silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
