Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 22-598-HS005-10612

This regal silk cotton sari in black cotton is handwoven with stripes in dark sage green silk and dotted checks in a dual shade of olive green cotton, running along the body. The broad border has band, diamond and vanki(chevron) patterns in black, leaf green and grey while the narrow border has diamond and vanki in grey. The pallu features a seeprekku pattern edged by diamond and vanki patterns in dark sage green and leaf green.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
