This classic kanjivaram sari in scarlet red shot with hot pink is handwoven with mayil(peacock) and manga(paisley) motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in scarlet red shot with leaf green have bands and checks in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a diamond band flanked by mann kuthirai(terracotta horse), mythical animal, manga, floral, geometric, rudraksham and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
