This elegant kanjivaram sari in scarlet red shot with deep purple is handwoven with stripes and floral buttis in gold zari, running along the body. The broad border has diamond, vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in gold zari; while the narrow border has vanki and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu features a geometric band flanked by annam(swan), mayil(peacock), yali, manga(paisley), rudraksham and floral motifs in gold zari.
