This classic kanjivaram sari in scarlet red shot with raspberry pink is handwoven with stripes and twill patterns in gold zari, on the body. The korvai borders in ink violet shot with black have twill, mayil(peacock) and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders feature checks, mayil, floral, kuthirai(horse), geometric, circular and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
