This classic kanjivaram sari in mayil kazhuthu(peacock blue shot with leaf green) colour is handwoven with mayil(peacock) motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The korvai borders in deep red shot with black have vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu mirrors the colours of the borders and also features a seeprekku band edged by vanki(chevron) and geometric motifs in gold zari.
