This stunning kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of green is handwoven with vanki(chevron) patterns in gold zari, running along the body. The korvai borders in deep scarlet red have kuyilkann(cuckoo's eyes), rudraksham and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with hints of sage green. The pallu in the same colours as the borders interlocked using the 'benth' technique, features a kuyilkann band flanked by kuthirai(horse), mythical animal, floral, geometric and salangai(anklet) motifs in gold zari and sage green.
