Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-595-HS001-12144

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in mulberry purple is handwoven with floral buttis in silver zari, dotted on the body. The korvai borders in a dual shade of mulberry purple have mayil(peacock) and geometric patterns in black. The pallu in the same colour as the body mirrors the patterns of the borders and also features geometric bands in deep mulberry purple.
