Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-608-HS001-06147

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari and a sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This stunning kanjivaram sari in ruby red shot with dark pink is handwoven with chakaram enclosing mayil(peacock) motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders have twill and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu features an intricate diamond band, manga(paisley) and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
