Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 16-100-HS001-00021

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of pine green is handwoven with checks enclosing floral motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The korvai borders in dark teal blue shot with deep purple have vanki(chevron), diamond, neli and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu mirrors the colors and patterns of the borders and also features twill band, mayil(peacock), kili(parrot), manga(paisley), floral and geometric motifs in gold zari.
