This classic silk cotton sari is handwoven in scarlet red shot with burgundy. The borders have diamond and floral patterns in gold zari and green, along with a selvedge in violet. The pallu in the same colours as the body features bands and stripes in gold tissue, scarlet red and green.
These exclusively commissioned handloom saris are woven in the town of Maheshwar, famed for its ultrafine silk cotton weaves. The gossamer light fabric is radiant and luxurious.
