This classic silk cotton sari in navy blue silk is handwoven with stripes in emerald green cotton and cobalt blue silk, along with paisley motifs in mustard orange and magenta silk on the body. The borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where the sides are in leaf green and crimson red cotton, both shot with navy blue silk, have geometric patterns in mustard orange and bottle green cotton. The pallu mirrors the colours of the body and features peacock and geometric patterns in mustard orange and magenta silk.
These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and crisp drape.
