Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 22-598-HS005-09186

This unique silk cotton sari in mustard yellow silk is handwoven with bands and stripes in burgundy silk and ochre yellow cotton, along with chevron and geometric patterns in leaf green cotton on the body. The borders in mustard yellow silk shot with ochre yellow cotton have chevron, paisley and geometric patterns in leaf green and scarlet red cotton. The pallu mirrors the colours of the body and patterns of the borders also features diamond, circular and geometric patterns and stripes in burgundy and leaf green silk.

These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and a crisp drape.
