This unique silk cotton sari in dark midnight blue cotton shot with black silk is handwoven with bands, stripes, chevron and geometric patterns in beige cotton and vermillion red silk on the body. The borders have chevron, paisley and geometric motifs in beige and ruby red cotton. The pallu mirrors the colours of the body and features diamond, chevron and geometric patterns in pale pink and ruby red silk.
These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and a crisp drape.
