This beautiful silk cotton sari in ochre yellow silk shot with mustard yellow cotton is handwoven with stripes in green silk, along with floral motifs in deep magenta and green silk on the body. The borders have floral and geometric patterns in ruby red cotton and green cotton, along with bands in green silk. The pallu in the same colour as the body features peacock, floral, paisley and geometric bands in ruby red and green silk.
These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and crisp drape.
