This beautiful silk cotton sari in violet silk is handwoven with stripes in emerald green silk and cotton, along with paisley buttis in mustard yellow and cream silk on the body. The borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, in mustard orange cotton and raspberry red cotton both shot with violet silk having geometric patterns in beige cotton, along with contrasting bands. The pallu mirrors the colours of the body also features twill, peacock and geometric patterns in mustard yellow and cream silk.
These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and crisp drape.
