The korvai borders in a dual shade of red have twill, iruthalai pakshi, floral, geometric, and hints of gold zari and leaf green. The pallu mirrors the colours of the borders and features a geometric band edged by iruthali pakshi, peacock, elephant and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
