This unique kanjivaram sari in dark green shot with dark navy blue is handwoven with checks enclosing elephant, winged horse and iruthalai pakshi motifs in gold zari, across the body. The korvai borders are in a dual shade of red, the broad border has iruthalai pakshi, floral and geometric patterns in gold zari; while the small border has geometric patterns in gold zari, both having a selvedge in dark green. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features peacock, twill, paisley, stylised leaf and geometric motifs in gold zari.
