This stunning kanjivaram sari in blue is handwoven with checks enclosing peacock and chakaram motifs in gold zari, across the body. The korvai borders in brown shot with burgundy, the broad border has peacock, iruthalai pakshi, winged horse, chakaram, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari; while the small border has peacock, winged horse, chakaram, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu mirrors the colours of the borders and features a diamond band edged by yali, deer, floral, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
