This regal kanjivaram sari in dark blue shot with black is handwoven with thuthiripoo checks enclosing kili(parrot) motifs in gold zari and a dual shade of yellow, on the body. The borders have diamond, vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in gold zari and golden yellow, along with hints of black. The pallu features a diamond band flanked by yaanai(elephant), yali, mayil(peacock), manga(paisley), floral and geometric motifs in gold zari and mustard yellow.
