Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-040-HS001-06226

This unique kanjivaram sari is handwoven in green and dark brown both shot with gold tissue, highlighted by checks, peacock, deer, iruthalai pakshi and winged horse motifs in gold zari and crimson red on the body. The borders in deep purple shot with dark brown have diamond and geometric patterns in gold zari, with hints of crimson red. The pallu is interlocked using the 'benth' technique in the same colours as the borders and features a diamond band edged by yali, horse, mythical animal, floral and geometric motifs in gold zari and crimson red, woven using the 'adai' technique.
