Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-040-HS001-03235

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This regal kanjivaram sari in rust orange is handwoven with checks in gold tissue and black, running along the body. The korvai borders have neli stripes, fine bands and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu features a diamond band edged by deer, peacock, floral and geometric motifs all in gold zari woven using the 'adai' technique.
