Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-040-HS001-00901

This classic kanjivaram sari in dark brown is handwoven with checks enclosing circular motifs in gold tissue and zari on the body, along with dramatically large paisley motifs in gold zari placed on either corner of the body. The korvai borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where the sides are in a dual shade of red and in mustard yellow, both having chevron, thuthiripoo and geometric patterns in gold, along with contrasting bands and hints of green. The pallu is interlocked using the 'Pethni' technique in leaf green shot with black and features a diamond band, flanked by horse, deer, floral, paisley and geometric motifs in gold zari, woven using the 'adai' technique.
