This classic kanjivaram sari in scarlet red shot with black is handwoven with checks in gold zari, running along the body. The borders in black have iruthalai pakshi and chakaram enclosing yali motifs in gold zari. The pallu in the same colour as the borders features a diamond band flanked by peacock, elephant, stylised leaf and geometric motifs all in gold zari.
