This classic kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of burgundy is handwoven with checks enclosing yali and traditional kamadhenu motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The korvai borders in a scarlet red shot with raspberry pink have twill, peacock, elephant, floral and geometric patterns in gold zari, while the pallu features checks enclosing peacock and chakaram motifs flanked by elephant, twill, stylised leaf and geometric patterns all in gold zari.
