This unique kanjivaram sari is handwoven with checks in gold tissue, crimson red and mustard yellow all shot with black, running along the body. The borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where the sides are in deep navy blue and burnt orange both shot with black, having bands in gold zari and magenta. The pallu is interlocked using the 'pethni' technique in dark olive green shot with black features paisley motifs in gold zari and geometric bands in gold tissue.
