This classic kanjivaram sari in cobalt blue shot with black is handwoven with iruthalai pakshi motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in emerald green shot with black have diamond, thuthiripoo and geometric patterns in gold zari and yellow, along with bands in dark mulberry purple. The pallu is interlocked using the 'benth' technique in the same colours as the borders and features a seeprekku pattern and alternating stripes in gold zari.
