This beautiful kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of pink is handwoven with checks enclosing circular motifs, along with dramatically large paisley motifs in gold zari placed on either corner of the body. The korvai borders follows a ganga jamuna layout, where one side is in rust orange shot with burnt orange and the other side is in leaf green shot with stem green, both having chevron and thuthiripoo patterns in gold zari, along with contrasting bands and hints of black. The pallu is interlocked using the 'pethni' technique in black woven using the 'adai' technique features a diamond band flanked by horse, deer, floral, paisley and stylised leaf motifs all in gold zari.
