Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-040-HS001-06005

This classic kanjivaram sari in burgundy shot with dark mulberry purple is handwoven with checks in gold zari and mustard yellow, running along the body. The korvai borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where the sides are in leaf green shot with stem green and rust orange, having circular and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with bands and hints in purple, rust orange and leaf green. The pallu is interlocked using the 'pethni' technique in ruby red shot with crimson red and features a chevron pattern edged by diamond, iruthalai pakshi and paisley motifs, woven using the 'adai' technique.
