Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 20-100-HS001-00152

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari and a sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This stunning kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of purple is handwoven with floral motifs in silver zari, all over the body. The broad borders have twill and geometric patterns in silver zari while the pallu features a geometric band edged by kuthirai(horse), mayil(peacock), mythical animal, floral, thazhampoo reku(temple), vanki(chevron), rudraksham and twill motifs in silver zari.
